NOGGLES RAIL IN MEDELLÍN 2024
We built a skateable sculpture based on the idea of creating a Nounobstacle in your city. Here you can read what I mean by this for reference. We want to build skateable obstacles inspired by nouns around the world. This project was executed thanks to the treasury of Gnars DAO, which supports athletes with their ideas and talents using blockchain technology to propose, fund, and materialize these ideas. Here you can read about the project executed in Medellín in August 2024, Colombia. It was proposed and executed by fuzzyface.eth through the on-chain DAO space of Gnars.com. Proposal on the chain: Sculpture NOGGLES RAIL in Medellín, Colombia With the help of the local skater community, the event took place over the weekend of August 17 in Medellín, where fuzzyface.eth attended on behalf of Gnars. He was the manager and collaborator with: Event manager and organizer @medelinskatemarket2024 "choneto" Builder of the sculpture @sk8taller Community that adopted the sculpture in their DIY plaza @ancianossb Fuzzyface.eth traveled to this city to share with the community during a week that quickly passed with the energy of the movement that led to skating in the Antioquian mountains. Recycled Noggles Keychain
yo, what’s up fam! check out some upcycling :) I recently teamed up with @fcarva.eth from Precious Plastic ES for my latest Gnars sponsorship proposal. I had the honor of collaborating with this global open-source upcycling community, which shares our grassroots vibe. Inspired by the experience, I created these rad Noggles keychains using Precious Plastic technology. We sent these recyclable keychains to surf athletes and some famous mainstream artists like Nissin Mc, alongside other Gnarly gear, in collaboration with ARDRP Surf Core Airdrop Culture, and Surf Guru. "Plastic is a major environmental threat, with about 8 million tons entering our oceans each year—equivalent to a truckload of plastic dumped every minute. This wreaks havoc on marine life, killing over 1 million seabirds and 100,000 marine mammals annually. Plastics break down into microplastics that enter the food chain, impacting both human and animal health. They can take up to 1,000 years to decompose, releasing toxic substances and harming soil and water quality. from this cast forward, i will be dedicating time and energy to gnars each week, to uncover our biggest problems, find the best solutions, and give our community the brightest future possible
as do nouns, gnars have a major problem. the "virtuous cycle" isn't working and we've yet to achieve value accrual back to the assets. this should be all we talk about at the moment. making revenue and seeing the value reflected in our assets
perhaps the nouns model just doesn't work. perhaps there's an iteration where it does. perhaps there isn't. but if there's anyone capable of figuring it out, its our community – the cult of nouns and its subcults

Built with gnars.com/dao/proposal/25 in 2024, the first Noggles Rail built in Colombia as a public good, placed in a plaza for free. It remains a place for community training and content creation. I'm planning to propose the construction of a solid concrete skateable sculpture module for Bogotá and a Noggles Rail. Here I'll share details about how the community integration space and the effective trick competition were experienced.
